Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal wedding was something right out of a fairy tale. The beautiful wedding took place at the Windsor Castle with close relatives and friends present as guests. With its telecast on the Television, the entire world was fortunate to see the royal couple take the forever plunge.
Recently, there were reports of the royal couple returning their wedding gifts as no one was allowed to give any. In fact, Kensington Palace had said in a statement, “It should be noted that gifts cannot be brought to St George’s Chapel or the Reception that follows at Windsor Castle.”
However, Queen Elizabeth II who has her way with things chose to bless the newlyweds in the most royal way possible. As per reports, Queen Elizabeth II has gifted the Royal couple the York Cottage, from her Sandringham Estate. York Cottage is a Royal stately home where Her Majesty’s beloved Sandringham House is situated. The beautiful cottage is a basic 4-bedroom house in the area, but it costs a whopping Rs 13 crores.
The overall property is believed to be spread over around 19,800 acres and includes an approximately 593-acre public park and 59-acre garden, which is connected to the main house.
