This is why Ranbir Kapoor and Ajay Devgn's project with Luv Ranjan is postponed

Just a few weeks back, Luv Ranjan had officially announced his big collaboration with two of the biggest stars in Bollywood, Ranbir Kapoor and Ajay Devgn. Fans were excited to learn about the latest venture and couldn’t contain their excitement to find out more details on the same. However, looks like signing such big names for the movie has come with a slight con after all for Luv Ranjan.

Owing to the choc-a-block dates in Ranbir and Ajay’s schedule, Luv Ranjan’s project has reportedly taken a backseat for now. The film, which was scheduled to roll in December, has now apparently been postponed and is likely to go on floors only by April next year.

A source was quoted saying that Ranbir has ‘Brahmastra’ and another period drama which will only get wrapped up by early next year. And Ajay, on the other hand, has ‘Total Dhamaal’ and Akiv Ali’s film. Once he wraps up these two projects, he will dive into his ambitious biopic, ‘Taanaji – The Unsung Warrior’. Thus, it will only be after finishing all the projects in their kitty, will the actors start the Luv Ranjan project.

Here's why Rajkummar Rao starrer 'Omerta' might not release this week

Helmed by Hansal Mehta, Rajkummar Rao starrer ‘Omerta’ is one the most intense movies in the National award winning actor’s career so far. Venturing into the zone of terrorism, Hansal Mehta has taken a rather bold step of showing the audience what goes inside the mind of a terrorist. This is the first time when Rajkummar will be essaying the role of a ruthless terrorist.

‘Omerta’ will witness Rajkummar play British terrorist Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh as it traces his journey from his early days in London to executing journalist Daniel Pearl. However, while the audience was eagerly waiting to watch this intense tale on the big screen this weekend, looks like fans will have to wait a little longer to catch ‘Omerta’ onscreen.

As per reports, the film is apparently stuck due to the censor Board since it deals with a rather disturbing and sensitive subject of terrorism. The makers preferred not to comment on these reports. Considering the movie deals with a bold subject and has some violent scenes, Rajkummar Rao fears it might face trouble from the Central Board of Film Certification.
