Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara Ali Khan is all set to make her Bollywood debut opposite Sushant Singh Rajput in ‘Kedarnath’. But the film earlier was in the news due to its ugly spat between director Abhishek Kapoor and producer Prernaa Arora. However, things have settled down now and the film is all set to hit the screens on November 30th this year.
Meanwhile, Sara has even bagged Rohit Shetty’s ‘Simmba’ opposite Ranveer Singh, which is being co-produced by Karan Johar.
During an interaction with an entertainment portal, Saif Ali Khan revealed that he was worried for Sara’s debut film after the shoot of ‘Kedarnath’ had got stalled. He mentioned that he wanted things to go very smoothly with her.
Saif further revealed he was very involved in getting Sara on board for a film with Karan Johar. He further added that he is very happy for Sara now and he will always be with her whenever she needs him.
Directed by Rohit Shetty, ‘Simmba’ is an official remake of the South film ‘Temper’. Ranveer will be seen playing a corrupt cop who changes his ways after falling in love with a beautiful yet simple girl. The film also stars Sara Ali Khan and Sonu Sood. The film is slated to hit the screen on December 28, 2018.
