Saif Ali Khan, Kunal Kemmu, Vir Das and Anand Tiwari starrer ‘Go Goa Gone’ received a lot of appreciation for the film. The director Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK worked perfectly to bring on the crazy zombie story on screen.
Now after five long years, they have announced the sequel of the film where the actors will reprise their roles. Recently, in an interview, they opened up about the film’s sequel and gave us the deets on how they are going to go about it.
They said, that a sequel was never planned when the first movie was made. And the sequels usually come out after almost two-three years, however, they wanted to see if the audience really wants a film like that again, hence a five-year gap. They were being reminded by everyone to make a sequel of the film.
They feel that it would be a challenge and fun too as they have to maintain the wackiness along with the surprises and uniqueness of the film.
Currently, they are working on the script of the film and the screenplay will be done by the next few months. Along with the original cast, they are also trying to add some new interesting character to the story.
Raj-DK said this time also the makers have a similar idea for the film, “a very tight budget, good planning and of course, really wacky content”. Dinesh Vijan is backing the project.
