Did Vivek Oberoi quote a big remuneration for Nagarjuna-Nani’s ‘Devadas’?

There seems to be an undying relationship between Tollywood filmmakers and Bollywood villains. After acquiring decent craze in the Telugu states by the portraying the role of Paritala Ravi in ‘Rakhta Charitra’, Vivek Oberoi is making a grand comeback to the Telugu screen as a full-fledged baddie in Boyapati Srinu and Ram Charan’s mega-budget action entertainer. Reportedly, the 41-year-old ‘Company’ actor is taking home a cool Rs 1.25 crore as remuneration for his role.
The terrific performance of Vivek as the bad guy in Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Krrish 3’ and Ajith’s ‘Vivegam’ has impressed one and all. Thinking the same, the makers of Nagarjuna & Nani’s ‘Devadas’ have approached the actor to play the antagonist’s role in their film. With good craze on his back and a high-profile project in hand, Vivek reportedly doubled his fee and quoted a staggering 2.5 crore as remuneration.
Shocked by the sky-high fee demanded by the ‘Grand Masti’ star, the producers have dropped the idea and decided to move on with other alternatives. While there is no official confirmation on this news, viewers have certainly missed an opportunity to witness three heroes in a single film.
