Abhijeet Bhattacharya in legal soup yet again!

Controversy and Abhijeet Bhattacharya have become sort of synonym to one another. The singer found himself in trouble yet again after a case was filed against him for abusing a woman.
According to the reports, Abhijeet has been accused of harassing and use of derogatory words against a woman during a telephonic interview. Following which, an FIR has been filed against him and a case has been registered at the Amboli police station, Mumbai.

The police have reportedly registered an FIR under section 509 (Word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) and 506 (Criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the police, the woman reportedly had an argument with the singer over some drilling work being done in the society after which she claimed that the singer abused her.
The singer, on the other hand, has refuted all such claims and has apparently said that she has been threatening him to extort money from him.
Abhijeet also added that the woman herself has made an illegal extension on the second floor and that the police have yet not contacted him.
The police are reportedly gathering in more information and evidence before taking any further action in the case.
